Sasha Soreff is a New York City-based choreographer, Certified Resonant Healing Practitioner, Certified Transformational Coach, dance teacher, and empathy/movement facilitator.  For three decades, Sasha has been guiding people of all ages, capacities, and comfort levels to connect to their bodies, emotions, and inner knowing.  As a facilitator, Sasha offers warmth, wonder, and deep spaciousness; she supports participants to experience the relief and clarity that comes from expressing your truth, being met where you are, and knowing you make sense.  She serves on the Coordinating Team for Radical Movement, a free monthly zoom movement space for “everybody and every body,” originally created by Sonya Renee Taylor.  During the pandemic, she was honored to be a facilitator for Out of Hand Theater's Equitable Dinners.

As Artistic Director of Sasha Soreff Dance Theater, she has been sharing multigenerational, participatory work for two decades. in 2005, Sasha became “the Dancer Who Wears Sneakers,” - sneakers help her keep moving despite a painful medical condition in her feet.
